Ingredients– serves 4
1 Onion
1 Carrot
2 Celery sticks
4 garlic cloves
1 bay leaf
500g Venison mince
500ml Tomato sauce (can be home made, shop bought jars or just tinned chopped tomatoes)
500g Spaghetti
30g Grated Cheese
Method
- Add a splash of oil to the pan.
- Fry onion, carrot and celery till softened.
- Agg garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add venison mince and cook till browned.
- Add tomato sauce and bay leaf.
- Allow to simmer for around 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile cook the spaghetti.
- Drain spaghetti, season bolognaise with salt and pepper.
- Top with some grated cheese if you wish, Serve and enjoy!
