Venison Spaghetti Bolognaise

Ingredients– serves 4

1 Onion

1 Carrot

2 Celery sticks

4 garlic cloves

1 bay leaf

500g Venison mince

500ml Tomato sauce (can be home made, shop bought jars or just tinned chopped tomatoes)

500g Spaghetti

30g Grated Cheese

Method

  • Add a splash of oil to the pan.
  • Fry onion, carrot and celery till softened.
  • Agg garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add venison mince and cook till browned.
  • Add tomato sauce and bay leaf.
  • Allow to simmer for around 30 minutes.
  • Meanwhile cook the spaghetti.
  • Drain spaghetti, season bolognaise with salt and pepper.
  • Top with some grated cheese if you wish, Serve and enjoy!
